How to read XAG/USD levels.
Identify the silver contract
Keep the chart symbol and quote source alongside the analysis. A broker's XAG/USD contract and an exchange silver futures contract can have different specifications. Check the contract size and price increment on the instrument you actually use.
Give every level a timeframe
Start with the recent trend and range. Mark previous highs, lows and areas where price has repeatedly reacted. A level from a daily chart describes a different view from a level on a five minute chart. Record when the observation was made and watch whether price holds, rejects or moves through the area.
Separate the view from the setup
A chart observation becomes a setup only when the entry condition, invalidation and targets are defined. Compare those conditions with the silver signal format; a marked support level alone is not an instruction to enter.
